Deep Throat Choir, the singing collective, is back with a new single 'Alchemilla', just in time for the festival season. 'Alchemilla' is the first song to be released from the choir's forthcoming album In Order To Know You, dropping on 3rd November. A full band is behind the new track, unlike some of the group's other songs that have an inclination towards minimal instrumentation. Percussion is at the forefront of the song and two voices interweave for a an off-beat melody leading into the verse, which is lead by one singer and backed by a rich plethora of female voices. The chorus is particularly charming, both melodically and lyrically; the group sing, 'Vulnerability's power, it lets me open up like a flower, forcing us to change and grow, opening us to ebb and flow'. Deep Throat Choir play Green Man festival in Wales on 19th August, be sure to catch them if you're headed to the beacons. -Ellie Rose-Davies
